Tech needs no help in looking stupid.
HA! You got me on the typo. Still doesn't change the lack of home state geography by Ponies.
The speed limit from Post to Lubbock is 70 like everywhere else in the state. It drops as you start getting into town, just like every other town in America. The speed traps are on 114 from Bridgeport to Benjamin or on 380 from Denton to Bridgeport, where 380 and 114 meet up for a while. In other words, most the speed traps are near Dallas. I make that trip 7 to 8 times a year. I know them all.
The worst speed trap in Texas has to be Farmers Branch.

This is the second thread today where a pony fan has no clue of Texas geopgraphy. Once you get out of Dallas city limits, you are lost. Do you guys realize that make you look stupid, not Tech, Tech alumni, or the city of Lubbock?
So I made one trip to Lubbock in my life, and it was over 35 years ago. I am sorry I am so stupid that I did not remmeber all the names of the podunk towns, but at least give me credit for being smart enough as to never having returned to the he11 hole.
All those who believe in psycho kinesis, raise my hand
If you take the 114 route, watch your speed in the Olney/Seymour areas. Also be careful around Crosbyton. The cops know when we have a football game, or when the students are going to be on the road for holidays, end of semester, etc. and are generally out in force.
After learning my lesson the hard way about 3 times, I just gave up and try to keep it at 75 or less. Haven't had a ticket in 3+ years.
Hope everyone has a safe trip and that the weather cooperates.

Did she move to Dallas to watch the whipper snapper? That's dedication, especially with him being a freshman.

Thats just one of the reasons...there are many more. Can't think of a better place to slow down and enjoy life a little bit.
