I would not be to critical of TD yet. Wait until he has coached UNT for 3 seasons and then you will know. If he has not shown results by that time he will be fired and if the W's are there he will move up the coaching latter. Either way he is gone.
But closer to home, let's hope SMU shows big time improvement next season.

I am just posting my annual College and University of North Texas shot. Denton is a rest stop. And the College and University of North Texas is where you go.

I have to admit, I am obsessed with NTSU. What other school has been blackballed by its superior neighbor to the south out of every good conference and relegated first to D-2 and then the ShunnedBelt? What other school has fans who bury their heads in the sand and refuse to acknowledge that their alma mater just can't better its lot in life on its own merits? What other school got its @ss handed to it by SMU last year? SMU, for godsake!! What other school has a crackpipe big enough to keep its fans on the dream of a new stadium??
Yes, I am obsessed. It is my personal mission in life to continue to keep the NTSU man down. And I must say, so far its been quite an easy one.

I'm proud to say that I have never once visited the UNT board. Overcusser seems to frequent ours.

actually Texas Tech had the same inferiority complex in the 1950s. Blamed SMU for not getting into the SWC. Apparently, thousands of Texas Tech fans mailed in their Neiman Marcus credit cards which they allegedly used on shopping junkets to the Big City.

Actually I think overcusser is independently wealthy. I hear he invented the "Ding" announcement on SW Airlines. He uses it to let him know whenever someone posts NTSU om ponyfans.com.

Todd Dodge sucks. SLC is impressive but they have the biggest recruiting pool of any school and motivated parents. To compare Dodge with Jones is ridiculous. We'll see what kind of program he builds once the luster of his SLC titles starts receding a little. Anybody remember what happened to Steve Smith when he left HP for Baylor?

Don't you mean SCOTT SMITH, head football coach at Rockwall High, former SMU asst. coach under Forrest Gregg ('88 & '89) and father of SMU freshman QB Braden Smith?

I don't start these threads, and I don't keep them going into multi-pages. But these fans of the SMUt Phonies just can't stop talking about North Texas. Whenever I happen to view this board, there is always some thread discussing UNT.
Maybe y'all should see a therapist or enroll in a 12 step program. Obsession of any kind isn't healthy.

Isn't obsession an odd word to be used by someone who calls himself overcusser.
