Banjo's Hit
Did anyone see chris banjo's hit? It was on one of there running backs. Does this show that some of the freshman are ready to play?

Yes Dad, that was nice.
A lot of the freshmen aren't ready to play as well. Take the QB for instance. Not that he won't be in the future.
I'd kill for a Nobel Peace Prize.

very few of the recruits in this class should have ever touched the field this year. Banjo MIGHT be one but to be clear just about the entire class has no business being on a Division 1A field this year. I see probably one definite polished, physical talent that is physically ready to play and that is Taylor Thompson-and I believe probably the reason he's not playing too much is that he is making a big jump in classification and really transitioning to DE rather than TE. I know this will make a lot of mammas, poppas and Uncle Bills mad.

Re: Banjo's Hit
No, it merely showed that Banjo can hit. Being ready to play goes a lot further than that.texas24821 wrote:Did anyone see chris banjo's hit? It was on one of there running backs. Does this show that some of the freshman are ready to play?
He has promise, though.
Go PONIES!

I believe Stallion is right on this point at one time the ncaa had a ruling that freshmen could not play varsity ball. It was a good rule as the young guys coming in had a chance to learn the system, get settled in the class room and in general mature.
