I heard Mike Leach was driving home and swerved so he could run over a puppy on the side of the road.

Don't be a baby. We got our @sses kicked and we deserved it. We didn't even deserve to score.

Personally, I had no problem with Tech crying to score at the end of the game. It is football and the idea is to score. Our defense needs the work and taking a knee doesn't make them any better. Maybe they can build on the "stop" at the end.

I did have an issue with the classless Tech fans chanting bull$hit 4 times on calls they didn't like in the 1st half alone.

I'm guessing that if the coach doesn't pick the QB he wants, the team shouldn't score? And who are the whiners? Leach is a documented schmuck. No argument against it is valid. Do I think he went to far in trying to score at the end? Not really. It could have been worse. Do I think he should have whined to the media at the end? No. He's a db, plain and simple.

If Leach had been trying to score he would have put in his 1st team and passed. In his own way he was being kind to us. It was his version of the kneel to run that play.

If Mike were trying to be classless he wouldn't have put the 2nd string defense in, allowing you guys to avoid the shut-out.

Wrong....CowtownRed.

Leach did, in fact, put some of his defensive starters back in the game on our touchdown drive. Leach and his DC made it clear they wanted a shut out...we scored....they didn't get it. End of story.

No whining here...we have put plenty of knots on their 'noggins over the years.

However, there is a great postibve in being GRACIOUS while winning.

Sanders actually scored in the first half against the starting defense but was screwed by the refs. Of course, we did not help ourselves by throwing out our little review flag...

Yeah, right. Leach's salary is in the millions already...in Texas. Cost of living is pretty low compared to California or Florida (places he turned down already-UCLA/Miami). Anything more would be a top 3 salary in the country.

Tech had a better team, but getting that extra TD wouldn't have proved that to anyone. They should have won by more, especially when you are playing 22 and 23 year olds against 18 and 19 year olds. This is comparing apples to oranges and we are not in their league yet.

When they play OU, Texas, etc. someone similar to them then we will see if they are as good as their ranking. They could be. Personally I think I would be worried if I was them that we had the small success we did moving the ball with our basically freshman team.

For the record, Tech did put their starters on defense back to try and stop us from scoring. Even the broadcasters mentioned it when they did it. They also talked about the LB for Tech who couldn't even make grades their in general studies, went to some junior college, and now was magically eligible again at Tech.

Tech's shutout chance at the end also would not have happened if they reviewed the Sanders TD.

Leach kept his starters in longer than we did and that is his choice, as it is his choice to try and score at the end there and not take a knee. I think he will be in trouble if a lineman, RB, or another one of his players gets injured when he does this but until then he will continue to do it.
