Sorry if there's a thread about this somewhere else on the board but just saw on Rivals that we are in Lamin Barrow's top 2? Landing a 4 star LB would be real, real big. Anyone have any details? Stallion?

Ole Miss and Kansas State I believe are his Top 2 although I don't think he's down to only 2 schools.

Shutter? Or shudder?
Either way  we could use him.
Still working on Rufus Porter (another fast LB), too.

yea i don't know if we really have a chance of landing him. on rivals, they had an article that made it sound like we were one of his top schools but we are lower on a list of about 6 teams. who knows - maybe something will happen but i'm not going to count on it.

I was thrilled last week to see Pete Fleps runs better - a lot better - than I thought, but overall, we have to get much faster at linebacker. Sounds like this guy would be a good start.

Definite impact. He had a really nice game in the home opener.

Committed to LSU-if its any consolation he was being partly recruited by former SMU DB Bradley Dale Peveto for LSU

I think I read that on behalf of the SMU coaches, Peveto told him that we did not want him anyway.
