...anyone with a tailgate spot on the blvd that is open to having a beer with a long-time mustangmaniacs and ponyfans.com TCU poster, please let me know. Would like to come over early and hang out for a couple hours but I have nowhere to go. Never been able to enjoy the Blvd and happy to pitch in some $$$ for food, beer and a TV! Thanks in advance.

Try the Special Delivery guys, they are free and easy with their beer. They even share with me. Don't talk excessive smack while you're there though.

Now, I have no authority to invite you to the Special D tent, I just know they are nice guys who like to talk football, so it's worth a shot. Otherwise, you may be stuck at the sorry old TCU visitors tent.

Their tent is easy to spot.

SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

May pass on the shirt but any directions would be very helpful.

If there's an invite for me, I'll bring some beer.

You will need to be walking, but head north on Bishop Boulevard (The Vard) until it becomes a divided roadway (about a block). The divided section is two blocks long. The Special Delivery Tent and Bus' area are at the north end of the first block on the west side.

Thanks - will any of you guys be around at either of these tailgates? Would like to meet you and say hello. Thanks again and really looking forward to a great day of tailgating and football.

Reedfrawg, I will be in between both Special Delivery and the BUS Stop. I get to eat twice as much that way. Would like to meet you.

Look forward to meeting you Reed. I'll be wearing the blue #19 jersey. And make sure you ask jt how to steal mrydel's seat.
BTW - Not TV's at either spot, sadly, but PonySoprano is nearby, I always mosey over there to catch up on scores. I don't know about PonySoprano though, he's liable to put a hit out on ya for stopping by. I kid.

The Special Delivery tailgate and BUS's tailgate get the highest props!
Both are located on The Boulevard where Binkley St. crosses Bishop Blvd. Or, another way of finding them, is that they're on The Boulevard between the Meadows Fine Arts Bldg. and the Perkins Natatorium.

Actually, if you just look hungry or thirsty, and wait long enough next to any tent sooner or later they will offer you some beer and barbeque--most people bring way too much.
