But as I stood up to get a Coke or hotdog or something this guy a few rows above me yells, "You aren't leaving now, are you little pony! We took out your quarterback, we can take you out too!" Something snapped in me and I climbed the several rows of seats between us and to his shock proceeded to modify his opinion in a physical manner. Though I regret the violence, I do still take a small amount of pleasure from the memory. Those Arkansas fans were the most obnoxious group of human beings I have ever encounted.
You are my hero. Seriously.
I'd kill for a Nobel Peace Prize.

There are plenty of people that will claim one school or another as having the worst fans, but I have long believed Arkansas wins this battle every time.

From my point of view, Ohio State had the worst fans. They made the Beloved Razorback fans look like K-5 kids. That said, both suck.

Really, I went that Ohio State SMU Game in Columbus and they were all pretty cool to us even though they must have been pissed as hell to almost get beat by SMU. But that's my only experience with Columbus.

Try it from the sidelines. They where pretty inhospitable to us. We were told to leave our helmets on from the time we left the locker room till we got back to the looker room. Never take it off. That was sound wisdom and save a head or two a nasty bump.

The Arkansas fans pelted the officials with beer bottles (yes bottles) at half time of the SMU/Arkansas game in 1969. They questioned a call that left UA with merely a 35-0 half time lead. Of course the final of 35-29 left them scurrying for their cars.

Who was it on here who claimed to have gone to a West Virginia game in Morgantown and was supporting the other team, so he sat behind the visiting bench ... only to have those idiots lobbing whiskey bottles and golf balls at the visitors?
Who plays golf in West Virginia????? Shouldn't they be cleaning off the still behind the three-wheeled tractor?
