BLM= Season down the drain

Post by Pony81 »

Sorry fans but BLM is not ready for D-1 prime time.

I was predicting 3-9 season. Now that looks way too optimistic. I thought we could beat Tulane but now I see no chance. Maybe we beat Memphis.

Our D iw woeful but the lack of scoring keeps the D on the field and we get clobbered.

If JJ doesn't change to Willis we go 1-11.

Come on. Where is that Mustang Pride? Oh, wait...it left in 1983.

BLM is nowhere close to even being half as productive as JW was last year. Are you really telling me JW couldnt run THAT offense we saw tonight? its ludicrous, that game was ludicrous. there was absolutely no fire from the team and a complete absence of any leadership on the field. BLM is not developing any leadership or swagger. get him out for his and everyone's sake.

Just exactly what has SMU done since 1983 that any fan can be proud of?

I'm sorry but given our location, academics, weak conference, and tradition we should be able to attract the talent to win at least 3 games a year.

Getting smoked by TCU 48 -7 shows we have nothing.

I predict 15,00 fans a game going forward.

wrong! The team has a lot of freshmen playing-youngest team in the country. Smu is on the rise.

I'm Done-I will go to my boulevard spot because Orsini jammed me for "Top 25 prices" then eat and go home. 20 years of embarrassment is enough.

Come on....that attitude is garbage. This is a fun offense and the team plays hard. The recruiting is getting better. This thing is getting ready to take off.

SMU is always the youngest team in the country.

SMU is always on the rise.

SMU is always 2-3 recruiting classes away from being competitive.

This will not be a JJ miracle season. He is flushing the season.

If he starts BLM over Willis next week - he will be telling the fans that this season is over. Over. Don't waste your time coming to the games because SMU will not be competitive.

Billy Joe,

You are either literally [deleted] or blind. We are the WORST D-1 team in the nation.

I hope you are [deleted].

Billy Joe-How long have you been buying season tickets and giving to the Mustang Club? Have you been suffering since the Rice game in 1989?

That is what I have said since the Day he made the unfortunate announcement. This decision was a very obvious white flag for this season.

The thing that bothers me is that JJ said he would play the best players across the board and there is no way in a hot hell he can honestly think JW is 4th string material behind what we've seen on the field the last few weeks.

NO kidding.

JJ is being stubborn. He doesn't want to lose his "Genius" label by admitting he made a bad call on BLM.

He has got to bring in JW to give this team a consistent QB. BLM makes a great pass followed by an INT or a terrible pass.

14 4th Qtr points by this supposed "high powered O" is pitiful. Just pitiful.

I have been a fan since 1989 and I am not [deleted]. We have played 2 top 25 teams and we are playing with many freshman. Player retention will improve and recruiting is already better. The team will improve and win.
