DeMyron Martin

Post by LakeHighlandsPony »

I know June is a football genius and any who question it will be stoned and beheaded but why do they run DeMyron east and west?? My mother has a better 40 time..for gods sake. DemYron needs to be running straight ahead with a lead blocker.

North and South baby.

With his size and speed he needs to run straight.

he needs to run, period. We've mostly seen him tip toe. I'd like to see him run any direction with a little authority and attitude. Way too timid!

Since he got that injury his sophmore year he has never been the same back that he was in his freshmen year where he would run over people. It happens to a lot of athletes. I wonder if it was his first major injury hence the apprehension now.

Of course, it would be nice if he could get some push from the offensive line when there is a draw play!

Wasn't he quoted in the paper last week as saying he doesn't always give 100% effort? Give me Kris Briggs, Donte Womack, Keylon Kinkaid, Rodnick Philips, Kelsey Adams anyday over Demyron.

You would almost think June would bench him for that comment alone. I know we all have had a game like that but barely admit it to ourselves, but to mention it to the press has got to make you wonder why he said that.

Personally, I think Chris Butler could be a more effective running back. The question is going to be how good can he block? Martin continues to be a huge disappointment. Didn't even block well with one holding penalty and another that should have been called. But I'm not the coach.

In '05 he seemed to run with legitimate malicious intent. It'd be nice to see the return of that Demyron.

With this O-line, he is needed as a blocker, but in this offense, he is worthless.

I don't think those guys have any eligibility left.
