Not necessarily so rough over in Durham. 2-1, and with a game this weekend vs a crappy Virginia team, Cutcliffe has a shot at 3-1 and 1-0 in ACC play. Even if they finish 3-9, that's a pretty good swing of momentum from how things had been.

There never was a doubt that the guy could coach-but can he get players to go there remains the question.

Kinda funny then, but our old pal Paul Johnson is now 3-1 at Georgia Tech, and that offense that could never work against a BCS team? Well, it somehow managed to eek out 500 yards and 38 points against Miss State this past weekend, including 438 yards rushing. Set a couple of school records that day, apparently. That was one week after Miss State held 9th ranked Auburn to just a field goal. 4 games into the season and they're already well over 1,000 yards rushing, as a team. At our current pace, SMU will finish with 375 yard rushing.... for the season.

GT has Duke, and then Gardner-Webb up next, so they should be bowl eligible soon. Tech is 19th in the Sagarin rakings, which would make then the betting favorite in all of their remaining games.
Try not to choke on the Kool-Aid.

Gailey regime left a lot of talent there unlike what was left here and PJ can coach.
