How can we be Top 25 if we don't charge Top 25 prices? Compare our ticket prices to those at UT.....and see what a bargain you are getting.

Is it my imagination or did the prices go up a $1 from last week?
I enjoyed getting abused on the field and at the concession stand.

Pony Up!

I thought $3.50 for a coke at Amon Carter stadium was highway robbery.

You have to figure that it costs an additional $20 to drive out there to get it, though.

I was standing in line to get a drink, and the couple in front of me started arguing with the gentleman behind the counter about the price of drinks. Finally, after what was several minutes of a somewhat 'heated' debating process, the volunteer behind the counter said, "Hey, this is your school. I don't set the prices."

Brilliant.

Why drink Coke when you can drink Punch instead?

Did anyone else notice that there were 'hawkers' (said so on the back of their shirts!) during the TCU game selling bottled water and cold drinks in the stands at Ford? The last time I recall seeing any 'hawkers' at an SMU game was the very first game at Ford against Kansas.

We didn't have enough money for Kool-Aid so we used Flavor-Aid instead. The high prices of drinks at Ford forced us to use a lesser product.

Yeah it's always amazing when people start trying
to argue with minimum wage clerks about pricing. As if the clerk
behind the stand at events/airlines/restaurants/gas stations
have anything to do with setting the price. I was in a big hurry
once at grocery store and some moron was debating on and
on and on about 3 cents in the express lane. I was already late
for an event and finally said......I'll pay the fricking 3 cents! (just GO!)

From the looks of things, these weren't even stadium employees. Looked like they were a booster club for a high school basketball team.

I believe all the stands are manned by Booster Clubs and other organizations and not anyone affliated with the university. I tried to get them to sell some of my "Kool-Aid" at their stands but was turned away. Such a shame as it looks like it'd be a really "killer" when it comes to sales.

They started those prices at the UH/AFA game.

I doubt the cup costs $0.40. It's much flimsier than typical plastic stadium cups. I'm currently drinking out of my 2002-03 SMU Rec Sports & Spirit cup. That's real plastic. :P

SMU has the highest prices of any stadium. UH's were more last year and are just under SMU's. $4 for popcorn and $4 for soda. $7 for BEER.
