SMU junior receiver Emmanuel Sanders describes himself as a small-town country boy at heart.

Indeed, his roots are reflected in his tireless work ethic and how he hauls in passes with the same precision he roped cattle dummies in the front yard as a kid in Bellville – pop. 3,794.

Sanders' aspirations and approach to football, though, are larger than life.

"If I dream big, my work ethic is going to resemble that of my goal and my dream," Sanders said. "I want to be the greatest. I work everyday as I if I was the greatest."
