My PredictionAnyone think Logan will become the next SMU QB tonight besides me?
My prediction is that BL will play in his last game this season. Logan will come in and show how this O is supposed to be run. I'm fired up! Pony Up!
I hope anyone other than Bo Levi Mitchell is our quarterback after tonight. God bless that kid I'm sure he's trying his best but he would have been so much better off with a redshirt year. The reason I bought into BLM was that June told us he was going to go with the quarterback that gave us the best chance to win. So you're telling me THAT gives us the best chance to win? If Mitchell truly gives us the best chance to win among those guys then those kids are stealing scholarships from Southern Methodist University. I refuse to believe that garbage about giving us the best chance to win. Please for the love of all that is holy give someone else a chance.
Back off Warchild seriously.
Re: My Prediction
how did that happen? I will not make age an issue in this campaign. I'm not going to exploit for political purposes my opponent's youth and inexperience.
Logan has not shown me much.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Dooby,
How many INT's has he thrown to defensive linemen? How many times has he dropped the f*cking snap?!?!?!!? I have never, and I do mean never, seen a quarterback so ill-prepared for Div.1A football in my life than Bo Levi Mitchell. I'm not saying he might not become decent, but if there was ever a kid who needed a redshirt year it was him. Back off Warchild seriously.
Has anyone seen the Southlake Carroll kid play this year? Is he any good?
Back off Warchild seriously.
Now there you go again. Did he say the best chance this year? ![]()
from stats seems to be OK
Mustang from India
I don't see where these two statements contradict. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
A guy to watch is Colton Palmer out of Kerrville Tivy, over 60% completion rate, 10 TD's, 2 Ints, is 6'4", 210. Only negative is he runs a lot as well, which JJ doesn't like.
He was at the SMU camp this past summer and according to the other SMU board he got a lot of praise. BUT, several Big 12 schools are also recruiting him, incl. Okie State, so it maybe tough for JJ to land him except he'd probably get to start as a frosh considering what we've seen so far this year!
Re: My Prediction
I predict you are wrong.
Not to rip on McJunkin, but he is a frosh from HS starting at center. It is possible that he may have contributed to the fumbled snaps. To me, calling for Logan Turner to start now is similar to calling for Bartel when Tate Wallis was starting, Tony Eckert when Phillips was starting, Jared Romo when Eckert was starting, and Chris Phillips when Romo was starting. All performed just as poorly when given the starting job. Just because someone can come in at the end of a game and do decently when the opposing defense is tired, doesn't mean they can perform as a starter. The donkey's name is Kiki.
On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney? Good, Bad...I'm the one with the gun.
