Well, we won the second half.

Given how I thought this would go, it did for one half (or worse.)

After that maybe the light switch did turn on?

We are starting to show that we can play football. There may be hope. 8)

Bell has made some great plays close to the line of scrimmage, fighting thru blockers to make tackles.

I hope they at least peeked around the corner if not turned it last night. the D looked good in the 2nd half, but they were in Run the Ball & Clock mode. Not many chances of passing.

Did Morstead have 4 or 9 punts? 4 sounds right to me.

Smart was OK in the second half when Tulane inexplicably decided to run the ball every play. Don't think the issue with Smart is being able to handle runs between the tackles. Also how good could the play of the MLB be when a guy runs for 208 or whatever it was.

Pride...you forgot to mention Thomas Morstead breaking his record for yards rushed on one play. He ran pretty fast considering no one was actually chasing him from behind. :)
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

Man, I need to start looking at the SMU postgame notes ONLY from here on out ... they seem so positive ... I would've thought we won 30-0, looking at those.
