Was at the game in New Orleans and walked away with reasons for optimism.
A Tale of Two Halves didn't give us the win, but I believe, a light switch did go off in the final two quarters. After watching a half dozen dropped or missed passes early in the game, the Mustangs began believing in the system and the possibilities. With another possession, BLM would have probably scored. Having said that, defense needs to stop the run. They should have been very tired and discouraged, but they played their hearts out in second half. Time is on the side of this system, a freshman quarterback and a team, who is starting to see the possibilities that come from discipline and intensity. Great job Ponies! Pony Up
I will be interesting to see how the D does vs. a team with poor passing and average running, like UCF.
How will our last-in-CUSA pass D fair vs. UCF's last-in-CUSA passing O? Go Ponies!!
Beat whoever it is we are playing!! @PonyGrad
