Obviously, Texas Stadium is a dump and tailgating is some of the worst in the league, by far, but make a day of it. Get there, tailgate, be prepared, have fun at the game. What is so hard?
We left after 30 minutes because it was just damned unpleasant and BornRed&Blue is on blood pressure medicine which says she is not to be in direct sunlight for an extended period of time. Seeing as how we were going to sit in the sunlight the entire game (that damn hole in the roof!), we decided to leave on our own instead of having her carted out by paramedics.

Since I didn't have a dog in that hunt, it didn't bother me one bit to leave after 30 minutes.

And btw, standing up the whole game and cheering is not obnoxious - swearing incessantly, grabbing people around you and screaming when drunk, and making me step back 500 times a game so that you can go buy another beer definitely are. This is why I also wouldn't go to a Big 10 football game or one in Lubbock if I had the chance....

Whatever happened to the much ballyhooed NFL Fan Code of Conduct? You know the one that tells fans not to swear, get naked or other similar sorts of lewd and undignified behavior. The Redskins make announcements at games that such conduct could result in removal from the stadium.

Such conduct can be expected when there's an indian raid on the cowboy camp after drinking lots of fire water!

Hey, there's a time for standing (cheering on the team, player, 3rd down, etc.) & a time for sitting (between quarters, halftime, TV commercial timeouts, official timeouts, etc.). Not many folks around us knew the difference. Must have been a bunch of Aggie$.
