Best Pizza around SMU

Postby BrianTinBigD » Tue Sep 30, 2008 9:59 am

I need to feed my football team after our game at SMU on Sunday and was looking for the best choice to feed a bunch of hungry 10 yeard olds and I need it delivered. Any suggestions?

It's a little out of the way from SMU, but I've always had excellent pizza at Greenville Ave. Pizza Company down on lower greenville.

Greenville Ave. Pizza Co is one option. Gordo's(now in Preston Center) is another option. One of my old school favorites, without a doubt. They deliver as well.

I used to would say Stromboli's, but they kinda suck now. They are across from VS/Umphrey Lee on Hillcrest.

too bad their website misspelled Ownby (says the first location "opened next to Omby stadium").

I understand a typo here and there on the message board, but that's their website.

They are just little kids. Get Dominos. They will probably spend half the lunch throwing food at each other.

Haha, no doubt.... with the original title of this thread, I would have said Campisi's or Prego's Pasta House. I miss both of those places.

But for ten-year-olds? Yeah, mrydel is right just down and dirty. The old standards... Papa John's always seems to work out well.

Still all things being equal, I'd got with Campisis's or Pasta House. Maybe Pasta House, but that's just my personal feeling, as I have had Campisi's more recently.

Dominoes still has that 5-5-5 deal so just go with that. Pizza Hut has that too.

go cheap like mrydel and thad said. they are only kids.

but if you do want to spoil them, if they win, go with Campisis baby!
