Will there be a celebrity grudge match?

We need about an 8’ boxing ring on the boulevard. Draped with red white and blue banners where members of pony fans can size up their opponents and box one round for sixty seconds caveman style.

It is our primal instinct.

Yes, Oscar would be in my corner when I'd face off against Private Pyle.

MexMustang you can "repeat the gist of your Complaint" until hell freezes over for as much as I care-I quoted Scout's documented information which still today has not been changed. If they change the information then I will report ALL information I know good or bad just like I always do-see Recruiting Page for ALL information I know good or bad about all our commitments updated weekly. As for the mistake on one player who I thought had been suspended I based that on the good faith belief in the identity of a poster on another board. It took a about 2 seconds to correct my mistake when I was informed by another poster that the identity of the poster was mistaken. I immediately corrected the mistake and deleted the post and told everyone on here was correcting it.

It really must kill guys like you-oh about the 2nd Quarter of the Rice game- to realize that for yet another year-including every year-that even with our new "Genuis" Coach I still have the most accurate, well reasoned understanding and perspective of the relative strengths and weaknesses of our program in relation to our opponents. Its going to be particularly disappointing to you when I correctly anticipate the actual emergence of a solid football program at SMU.

Get used to it because I'll continue to be as unbiased as my record has shown I am-and I'll actually base my opinions on facts unlike others who are merely venting negativity.

The problem is Stallion, you are not a unbiased and you provide no financial support to the program.

Just what do you have against our coaching staff? The fact they came to SMU when you assured all of us that they wouldn't even consider it?
Just how does it help the program to criticize everything that goes on? Why don't you go into coaching? Your law practice seems to give you plenty of time.

stallion you might be surprised to know you're not the only one who has a understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of this program on this board, but not all choose to discuss and share on a fan message board   at the end of the day these are still kids giving all they have for this university.

Um...isn't discussing that sort of thing the whole point of a message board? If the players don't like it I'd encourage them not to log on.

....and I have eased way way off on my criticism of the University which anyone following this board knows. I have stopped all criticism of the Model which was a 20 year crusade, commented that it appears SMU has finally decided to field a competitive program since they adopted just about every point of that Crusade for which I was criticized for 20 years, have made a "substantial" contribution to the Mustang Club and purchased two 50 yard line season tickets. I've also stated there are promising signs in the Basketball team. This is not the SMU Cheerleader board. It is a board for the open discussion of SMU athletics If we have to put up with some of the biggest homers in the world who literally make me regurgitate with their silly, uninformed cheerleader comments, then you are going to have to put up with someone who has proven to be right more times than you care to admit.

You don't honestly think you had anything to do with this did you?? Do you really believe you were the only one making complaints about the restrictions and other problems in the Ath. Dept.?

You really can't call it a crusade if you had no say or did nothing to accomplish the end goal...Your ego is amazing, you prob. were a trust fund kid, not that there is anything wrong with that, but your sense of entitlement is nuts...

You kind of remind me of Jay Mariotti..[/quote]

Just out of curiosity, who was criticizing him for 20 years? These SMU fan web sites haven't been up that long.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

You can spew your opinion, albeit unfounded, about Evan as much as you like. I can take it with a grain of salt as OC mentioned. Given the chance, Evan will ultimately put you in the position where you will be eating your words. Fact of the matter is that Evan did not play football until his junior year in high school and did not play varsity until his senior year thus staying under the radar as far as Scout and Rivals goes. I will continue to trust that Coach Jones saw in Evan the ability and will to become a D1 player.

What I can't understand is why you would jump on a public forum and accuse my son of being suspended without any factual basis. As a JD, which I understand you are, you more than anyone should know that it is not wise to open ones mouth unless you can back up your accusations with fact. Yes, you did retract and delete the post however the damage had already been done and you have yet to apologize to either myself or my son. IMHO you were not right with either of your comments and I have no trouble admitting it.
