He really was very compelling to listen to. The teacher mentality is amazing, and refreshing. He was personable, and sociable, and it was, once again, great to see the little ways the coaches are giving to the SMU community.

The atmosphere at Peggy Sues was great too! And frankly, their food is just fantastic.

I was very interested in his point about how Bo Levi Mitchell's learning process would be a lot quicker if the guys to whom he was throwing already were experts in the system. But as has been said many times before, everyone from Mitchell to the OL to the WRs is a freshman in this system. Coach Morrison explained very well how, if Sanders and Robinson and the rest had all been in the offense for a few years and were fully comfortable, Mitchell's progress would accelerate. But since they're ALL still getting comfortable, he - as the most visible position and the guy who gets the ball on every play - has to develop at a slower pace.

I can see why the QBs say this guy is such a great teacher.

I have always thought the same thing for some strange and unknown reason.

Give me about 20 years of hard living (SMU fandom) and you might be pretty right.

Don't make my mistake of letting people know who you are. I was going to make a joke about not seeing any little green man with a pot of gold there, but I'm not anonymous.
