Bryan McCann that there’s something he can’t do.
The Oklahoma City native had open heart surgery
at the age of two and was not supposed to play any
sports as he grew up. He was then hit by a car at the
age of six and had hernia surgery at the age of nine. If
that wasn’t enough, he broke his leg and ankle in the
fall of his senior year of high school. McCann defi ed
all the odds and naysayers, though, and came back
to win the state title in the 100-yard dash and earn
C-USA All-Freshman honors in 2006 at SMU.
McCann has started 21 straight games and has 19
stops and two pass breakups in 2008."
