Comes down to TONS of stupid mistakes, penalties, and INT's.
You hate to see a 95 yd TD and lose the game, that is awful.

The onside kick decision was a complete disaster and changed the momentum.

Martin needs to stay off the field. At least give Henderson a chance at RB or dump off passes, I don't get it. Too bad Lee got hurt.

BLM - how many INT's is that? 16 through 4 games?

Actually, I think BLM was done a terrible injustice. Freshman QBs suffer. We have seen it at SMU and at other schools. To place a Freshman in a position as critical as QB is really a disservice to the kid. The game is more complex, faster and more intimidating.

If BLM survives this mental disaster know as his freshman year, he could well turn into a great QB. JJ would have been better to bring him along slowly. Of course I am not paid to coach so JJ knows best.

Unfair or not, the skills just arent there

I diagree. I think the skills are there. Problem is that a freshman QB can only survive on a veteran team where his role is to merely minimize mistakes and let the team do the winning and leading. I do not perceive any real leadership on this team at this stage. I get no sense that any upperclassman has the stepped up and tried to be a leader and take care of the underclassmen. BLM is being forced to not only be the QB, but the playmaker, leader, inspiration.....etc. Those requirements are too much for a frosh.
