6 Hours and about $200.00 in gas for me, so it had better be good.

I've eaten at Joe T's before, but I've never been able to calculate the dollar value of the gas.

FYI, For those that are cuquita fans. They will be closing the Henderson location after this weekend. The makeover of that neighborhood has finally gotten them.

Seasoned Mexican Food Afficionados: Anybody remember the name of the Mex Food Restaurant that was in the current Mattitos location on Cedar Springs? - it did not have all that (add-on)room in the back - just the little house and there were tables set up in the "bedrooms" - had very good sour cream chicken enchiladas and outstanding hot sauce (20+ years ago). Also, what about Avila's on Maple? Anybody?

Avila's is very good, but not really TexMex.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

Just home from Yucatan Taco Stand and Tequila Bar in FW. Phenomenal food and <wait for it> the best margarita I have ever had. It is on Magnolia, and definitely worth a visit. Now I need sleep.

Joe T Garica's is the best. Period. No one comes even close. End of conversation.

You're delusional. JTG's has declined in quality and service. Some of the worst Tex-Mex I've ever had. And the 'ritas were considerably watered down. In one word: awful.
