...his defense.

Wait till he find out more about SMU's defense. Bobby Curran said he talked to JJ about two or three weeks ago by phone. JJ told BC that there's probably only 2 players on this defensive team that can play for Hawaii right now. That's how bad they are now.

man, we need to get this guy. 6'4 280 Juco DT? Add him to the Navarro guy and Evan.

As for JJ's comments, I'm surprised he would share that, even though it's true. I'm more surprised that the Curran fellow with whom he shared openly-if he did-would run his mouth about it after having been confided in. Truthfully, what do you expect about the defense which is dead last in the country?

Sounds like a 4th hand rumor at best.

This from a guy that posts stories from Bloomberg on here?

Unfortunately I agree about our D. They play hard (I think), but the talent just isn't there. We need a lot of JUCO help, and fast.

the DT referenced in the story is a Juco at NMMI in Roswell. Also produced Roger Staubach. Anyway, someone tell Reinebold that AA has a couple of flights a day from DFW to Roswell.
