Chris Butler’s 38-yard run in the second quarter is SMU’s longest run play of the season
Bryan McCann had a career-best two interceptions, becoming the first SMU player with multiple picks in a game since Devin Lowery had three interceptions against Marshall in 2006.
Emmanuel Sanders was 6-132 receiving, his ninth career 100-yard receiving game which ties Emanuel Tolbert for the SMU career record. It is also Sanders fifth 100-yard game this season, tying the SMU record held by Jerry LeVias with five in 1968.
