Regardless of how the opponent gets the ball, defense has to be able to make a stop!

I think on the first drive he had a third and one, and rather than run for the first, he waited trying to pass a took a sack. If the field is open it should be ok for him to tuck and run. Other than that and the interception where he forced it, much better.

JWill would be the QB if JJ wanted a running QB. BLM needs to learn how to escape. There is a diference.

Kudos to Tulsa for its record, I guess, but that's not a team that should be on the edge of the top 25. Their offense is very good, but their defense is a joke. Bo picked 'em apart.

TU offense sucked. We only gave up 41 to them. TU is not a top 50 team. Who have they played for that David Johnson to put up the numbers he has?

IMO.....the Ponies were awesome Saturday night! They should ALL be proud of the game they played and it was impressive and exciting to watch them LEAD Tulsa thru most of the game.

Tulsa has not trailed since their first game this season.
The defense, no matter how many yards they gave up, held Tulsa to their lowest scoring game of the season.....They played their hearts out, and sometimes the stats, and the paper clippings, just don't show it all. They stopped Tulsa several times inside the twenty and kept them from scoring...the score really could have been different. Defense showed huge improvement....probably the first time for Tulsa that 600 yds avg per game, didn't end up with 60+ points on the board...and it's because the defense STOPPED THEM!!!

Chris Bulter was a huge contributor...and my thoughts and prayers will be with him and BJ Lee for quick recoveries. DeMyron and Andrew played with heart! And COLE BEASLEY can catch a football!! luv to watch him play!
Sanders and Robinson will be heros...luv those 77 yrd catches!!

Kudos to all the players, and the Coaches...a job well done! That's a difficult game not to bring home the "W." But I think a lot players, Coaches and the team in general worked hard to earn some respect Saturday night.

If you missed that game because you thought it would be 80-0 blow-out....then sham on you!

Stats and improved play would continue if we get the best players on the field.

Beard, not Beer...as in JW's old stalker. You're enamored with him so I thought you might be JW's stalker.

The problem with that philosophy is that the best players are usually on the other team.

I don't believe that. Rice, UCF, and Tulsa were games we could and should have won, if it were not for this no expectation season. We haven't had expectations for 21 years. Can we get an administration and coach with some expectations. Rice had a 40 year old that ran all over us. We are in CUSA, its a toss up almost every year for every other team to win the west, except for us.
