YEAR CMP ATT YDS CMP% YPA LNG TD INT SACK RAT
2008 151 263 1912 57.4 7.27 94 17 16 19 127.64

Interesting. QB rating of 127.64. At the current rate, he's projected to end the season with 3,279 total passing yards and 29 touchdowns.

And 27 ints. Blech.
I'd kill for a Nobel Peace Prize.

I am not going to pretend to understand how the QB rating works . . . but with 16 picks . . . how in the world is his QB rating that high!! . . . and really a fairly low comp % as well... shouldn't this offense produce something more like 65-70%? I know he is still learning and I actually think he is performing pretty well for a true Freshman, the rating jsut seems out of whack, I just dont get it!

no expectations - or should you expect interceptions and be pleasantly surprised if he doesn't throw any?

It's interesting that he'll have a realistic chance of breaking the single season TD record in his first year. And it's not like he's the first R&S QB we've ever had.
Now if we could only win a few.

Would be interesting if he could break the touchdown and interception records in one year

Are you counting any of the interceptions as TDs?

We have had an abundance of dropped passes. I would expect his completion % to increase and his INts to decrease as the year goes on.

i beleive that does happen as well, but that rating?! how did it get so high? what is perfect anyway? maybe i am way off . .. is 127 even good?? I think I am thinking of the NFL rating in which 150 (i think) it near perfect . . . maybe the high in college QB rating is 250 or something in which case i guess it is about right!!!
