UW is definately out. From a reliable inside source, the UW basketball head coach Romar, made an in-house visit to the Dodson's and made a very racy joke that really turned off his family and him. Let's hope that Papa can talk to him and convince him to come to the Hilltop.

Which LSU board did you see that? I subscribe to TigerBait (rivals site, generally considered the best of the LSU "rumor" & recruiting sites) and other than what I mentioned in my other thread, no one seems to know what he is thinking....

I think he had a good weekend. When I spoke to him on the vard, he had mentioned that being so close he had been to SMU before.
Do you mean that this weekend was as close to committing to SMU as he's been?

Sorry, I did not make that clear. He lives in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, so he has visited SMU before and seen the Boulevard and a basketball game.

Yup, I was told the info came from TigerBait. Could be outdated or inaccurate, but I was told by LSU fans monitering the situation.
With the reports that he really wants to feel "needed" at whatever school he chooses and his relationship with Doh, tough to rule us out just yet. The domino of Russell potentially followning would be the biggest thing to happen to our program in recent/distant memory.

I can't imagine a school, coach or program that can demonstrate more of a "need".

Must have missed that. Either way, I'm not holding my breath. It would be a great surprise to land him, but we have stiff competition.

From a reliable source, I have heard that Aaron's parents are leaning towards SMU and want to make an unofficial visit with Aaron to view the campus and facilities. That is huge news!

Very interesting. Since he planned to make a decision soon, I assume they will visit this weekend? 75 and sunny won't hurt

Aaron Dotson is heading to Louisville Midnight Madness this weekend W/Peyton Siva, another highly ranked kid from Washington state. Siva already gave a verbal to Pitino. The pressure will be on Dotson, and there will probably and ton of chants and signs. Better hope his parents value an education
“When I first committed to SMU, I thought it would take a couple of years of building. But with these players coming in, we should make a run. We have a lot of heavy hitters. It could get real ugly for a lot of teams we play.â€- Jalen Jones

What's the situation at the 2 look like at Louisville? Any chance for Dotson to immediately contribute? That's one of his requirements.
