Or to BYU

Won't happen.

Define greener pastures. How many BCS games does K-State, or Okie State, or Baylor, or Clemson have Texas Tech? Cal?

Same as TCU. Or SMU -0

Think it is easier in their conference than ours? OK, maybe the Pac-10 or ACC or Big East is easier than the MWC this year. But I envy Tulsa right now.

Kids right now want to come to TCU. We have a Top 25 class headed this way next year( assuming they all sign).

We are very willing to ride out an occasional down year. Think the same can be said at other schools?

There is something to be said for good kids coming in, and the solid program we already have. I would think it would have to be quite an offer to lure Gary away, a real bellcow program. I guess we will see

Do you think he would be interested in a DC job at the next level?

For a Frog I'm happy that you realize SMU is absolutely the next level compared to Cowtown's finest, however I think the implication was the NFL!

Tennessee should take a hard look at Gary Patterson. Those Texas recruiting ties will be extremely valuable and Patterson would jump at the opportunity to coach in the SEC for a team that can realistically win a National Title in the next 4-5 years.

Fort Worthless and Knoxville are pretty similar when you look at it - except 100,000 plus show up to watch the Vols while TCU is lucky to get 30k at Amon Carter.

I say all this as the word on the street here is that Fullmer is done - and it will likely happen before the end of the season . . .

Well even Cowtown is far preferable to anywhere in Arkansas or College Station.
