Everything points to us winning this week after the way we played the last few weeks.

except for the fact that we are....SMU.

I'm still hoping we don't get smoked out of our own stadium again.

frankly I expected more a Cheech & Chong-ish retort. I knew something was coming with the use of that verb, though.

Haven't you predicted a win every week?

I'm predicting a win - I won't be at the game - (out of town for my relative's 85 birthday), so I figure the only other win for the season will be then one I miss.

Good luck Ponies.

Man I would love to be able to walk into the stadium every week KNOWING we were going to win, but right now I know better than to even think that. Hope springs eternal, but there is aways that dread of the spirit of Football Gone Bad coming into the stadium and raining on our parade. I will always yell my support for the team and hope they have a good game.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

Well I am headed for a win. I am currently in S'port and I will pick up my mom. Tomorrow we head to Dallas to watch SMU. There will be three of us. It is my first game to see in person and the first for my mom in years.

Go Ponies.
