Navy Game Predictions

Postby sbsmith » Fri Oct 24, 2008 11:57 am

We've improved a lot on offense the last few games and I think we'll put up points on Navy's defense but their triple option will be just too much for our defense to contain, I see them putting together several long drives and dominating time of possession. Navy takes this one 45-34.
They who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security

1-0 SMU, Navy has to forfeit due to the sudden need for all personnel to defend D.C. from a giant land shark with freakin' laser beams attached to its head.

On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney?

we're now 2-19 last 21 games. Still not time to start predicting a w. We need to change this trend first.

SMU will score more than 17. Watched Navy many times on CSTV over the last few years and Navy as most teams will have big trouble stopping Robinson and Sanders. If both are healthy and the weather conditions are decent I say they combine for close to 300 yards in Receptions. In addition to the North Texas debacle-remember Navy also had big trouble stopping Deleware last year which had an excellent passing game with an NFL QB prospect. Navy struggles in pass defense. However, I think Navy wins at home but it should be close. Right now they are 104th in Pass Defense and have given up 259 yards per game in pass defense.

Its gonna be raining with a 25MPH wind says the forecast up here. Not good for our passing game.

Navy 74, UNT 62. This game will at least be in the 50s... I guess barring crazy winds as mentioned above, in which case only Navy will score in the 50s.

Road game = loss. I tried the reverse psychology last week and it failed, but will try it one more time.
