I came across a DISD football program from the 2002 season, which lists the rosters of all the teams.
Check out the sizes of some of the linemen playing their high school ball here in Dallas - and keep in mind that these numbers were listed before their junior (and in some cases, sophomore) seasons, so maybe they're even bigger now.
Guard James Rodriguez (Adamson) - 6-1, 299
OL/DL Erian Jones (Thomas Jefferson) - 6-2, 305 (junior in 2003)
TE/DL Max Regaldo (North Dallas) - 6-2, 300
OL Jesse Dee (Kimball) - 6-0, 320
DL DeMarcus Granger (Kimball) - 6-4, 320 (junior in 2003)
OL/DL Ramel Borner (Lincoln) - 6-1, 280
OL/DL Michael Thompson (Lincoln) - 6-4, 315
OT/DT LeRoy Pierson (Roosevelt) - 6-3, 332
DL/OL Ricky Fulps (Seagoville) - 6-4, 300
DL/OL Keith Kirby (Seagoville) - 6-2, 305
OG Danny Hudspeth (A Maceo Smith) - 6-5, 270
OL King Felder (South Oak Cliff) - 6-4, 335
OL/DL Jonathan Stoker (Carter) - 6-3, 290
OL Joe Phommachack (Molina) - 5-11, 337
OL Claudio Sanchez (Molina) - 6-3, 342 (junior in 2003)
OL Osbaldo Rangel (Samuell) - 6-3, 310
C Saul Flores (Skyline) - 6-0, 285
OG Phillip Bess (Skyline) - 5-11, 285
----------
All players will be seniors unless otherwise noted.
"What kind of weirdo school are they running over there in Fort Worth?"

DeMarcus Granger, from what I understand, is a terrific player, and mobile for a guy his size. Definite prospect for 2005.
It would be great to see Michael Thompson, LeRoy Pierson, Danny Hudspeth and King Felder end up at SMU.

Ephedrin would actually have the opposite affect. Its an MAO inhibitor, it stimulates electrical signalling to the heart, raising your heart rate. Thats why its dangerous. Consquently, it raises your basal metabolic rate, so a person taking it uses more calories in any particular activity than a person not using it. So, taking Ephedra, or its derivatives, usually leads to weight loss, not gain.

No doubt PX. I read an article a while back that said hockey players used to take 5-6 sudafed tablets prior to a game. Sudafed is a mild form of ephedra as I understand it.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

Most nasal decongestants contain psuedoephedrine or something similar, including sudafed. Sudafed would be a curious choice for athletes, because it also contains ingredients that can make you drowsy, but that doesnt mean someone hasnt tried it. 75 years ago distance runners were still taking strychnine and brandy during races, because they thought they were stimulants.

I've seen Michael Thompson, and he's as lean as you can be at 270 pounds. He's extremely strong, and has tons of room on his frame for more bulk.
I don't know anything about his colleges of interest or academics, though.
