Recruiting rules

What are the rules about spring contact? Can the coaches call high school juniors? I read on this board where u.t. already has 3 commitments, and I was curious, because I thought coaches were only allowed to talk to juniors on certain days, like when they (the juniors) come on campus for "junior day" or a team scrimmage.

Can anyone clarify? Guru? Stallion? Mickey?

Coaches can write to recruits, and a prospect can make an unofficial visit to campus, but I dont know about making phone calls. I dont think thats allowable at this point, if it is initiated by the coach. A recruit could call the coach, but not vice-versa. I'm not 100% sure on this, but I will check to find out.
