Apparently everyone thought that 30 mph wind, pouring down rain, road trip, and poor run defense added up to an SMU win today.

I'm willing to give JJ that much time.

Thats $8 million worth of time

It's not coming out of our pocket or the University's. Jones price tag is not an issue...just the product on the field.

So long as the big boosters are willing to fund him, I say let's give him time.

They will... If the two coaches we have for B-Ball and Football can't turn this thing around I don't think it will ever be done.

In that mysterious place where our students go during game time, whether or not they are on "fall break."

Stallion wrote:But we knew that. Give him 4-5 years. I personally believe the system is in place to turn it around. Just show a little patience. The only thing that surprised me this year is starting so many freshman-as soon as that decision-or maybe realization that was necessary-we should have expected this.

Stallion, I consider myself a rather reasonable person.

I am willing to wait....problem is, by your own admission, JJ's current class is average at best compared to C-USA counterparts.

THAT will not cut it....especially considering the likelihood that over time, JJ's classes will go downhill as the losses mount.

And if they can not then I may be willing to walk away too but not 3/4 through the first year.

We finally figured out how to stop Dobbs.

Yeah, Tom Mason, that's some quality work you're doing there.
