It's misserable, sideways rain...not good conditions for an air assault, submarines are looking good.

have to say these were the most miserable conditons I've ever sat thru to "enjoy" a game. It was like sitting thru a tropical storm, except for temperatures in the 50's. Winds shifted at half time and wind was blowing sideways for half the game. Rained for probably 45 or the 60 minutes of play.
I sometimes wonder if SMU doesn't have a black cloud hanging over us. I've been up here all week and it was beautiful until today...and I understand it will be nice tomprrow for the trip home to Charleston.
Always the optimist, all I can say is that it is nice to have a bye to prepare for the homecoming game. Could realistically be our last hope for another win this year.
Bright spots were Phleps (who the PA guy called "Phelps" all day) and Lunday.
