SMU reportedly has really strong interest in WR George Walker (6-3, 190, 4.4) of Houston (Westbury), Texas. He's good good size and speed, and is a very productive player for Chris Cunningham's old high school. At the moment, he has SMU on an early list that also includes Iowa, Iowa State, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M, UCLA and TCU

Not fair. Texas just got the state's top WR. The kid from Burnet. Can't remember his name but the Austin American Statesman just reported he had committed to Texas.

How many top WR's do they need? Especially since they are going back to a running attack now that Simms is gone.

I'm not sure they're going back to a running attack. Chance Mock is a decent passer, and Vincent Young is going to be great. And they have tons of good receivers down there. A name to remember: Robert Timmons of Flower Mound Marcus. Unbelievable athlete.
