Navy coach: Midshipmen aided by elements

Postby PonyPride » Sat Oct 25, 2008 8:18 pm

From the Washington Post:

"Obviously the elements helped us," Navy Coach Ken Niumatalolo said. "For us to go against a team like that, that's so prolific throwing the football, to have the weather that we had today was definitely an advantage for us."

As Isoroku Yamamoto, D. D. Eisenhower or Patton could tell you, sometimes the weather helps you, sometimes it kills you.

Sea-men move better in wet conditions. They just kept shooting deeper and deeper right up the middle and we couldn't do anything but lay there and take it.

Which ones aided Navy the most?

Our defense looked as though somebody may have slipped arsenic (As, Atomic number 33) into the gatorade.

I'm surprised the General hasn't weighed in at this point. Navy ran through us like cr@p through a goose.

A pre-game enema makes you run faster as you have less weight to carry
