Check out this new SMU football song by former basketball player and current up and coming rapper Voc Atkins!
I know many folks on this board aren't fond of playing rap inside the stadium, but this is the perfect song to play when the players are coming out of the tunnel and after we score/leading up to the kickoff.

Click on this link and then select the 2nd song, "SMU Fight Song," in the media player.
We need to push to get this played on game days since it would be an improvement to the current game presentation, plus it's great support for a fellow Mustang!
FYI - The first song in the media player, "Watch Me," is currently being played on K104 in Dallas.

Lyrics are degrading N N N in the first song. An educated man glorifying Gangster life. The SMU song blows

I'm liking it - could definitely see this being used to pump up the players/crowd
It's a crappy job but someone's gotta do it.

Maybe, but my name refers to Seattle, where I lived before I moved to CPH.

They're still around. Very active in the corporate/private party scene.

A few of the members were from Irving MacArthur I believe. Haven't thought of them in a while.

That point is moot considering we never have one (a crowd, that is).

Crediting it as even being a song is a giving it too much credit. Saying it "sucks" is more than it deserves.

I think this should be our new alma mater in place of Varsity. Ot change it to match our level of play...Junior Varsity.
