I think that is the second time you have implied that. Any idea when that is going to happen?[/quote]

Yes, I did say this once before, 6 months ago, after the last season ended. Have you seen Cameron Spencer, Bennie Rhodes, Chris Clarke or Jared Dubois on campus since then? Me neither.

Just sit back and watch.

Wasn't questioning your prediction. Just wondering if you knew of anything specific that was happening. Not surprised at any of the four you mentioned. Someone on here mentioned that Clarke was at a prep school. Might he wind up here later or is he gone for good?
When will I start feeling stimulated??

Although it should be noted that Doherty fought to keep Dubois but he just was not interested in coming due to competition at PG and his main recruiter leaving.

Don't know why people are wanting XtC to name anyone, look at the roster and draw your own conclusions.

I think its time to be optomistic about the THIS season, see how it plays out & then we can worry about next years squad.
I hope that Bamba & all our frosh & soph's have great years & we have even more to look forward to next year.

Actually, I believe it's a JC, not a prep school, but it doesnt matter that much. I dont believe we will see Mr. Clarke, again. a). He isnt a very good player. He's a good athlete but limited basketball skills. He didnt start for his own high school. and b). We lied to the guy and reneged on his scholarship. He had a very weak senior season after signing with the Mustangs, and SMU decided they didnt have a scholarship for him, after all. I would think he'd be a bit pissed off about that. It's purely conjecture on my part, but most people would hold a grudge.

I dont think we're interested in him, nor he in us. I will admit that this is merely opinion on my part, but I really think if SMU still wanted him, he'd be here now. There was a scholarship available when Dubois was released, if Doh had wanted Clarke, he'd be here already.

I suppose you can do that if you want to. XTC usually is a step or two ahead of the rest of us in knowing what is going on and his post implied there would be other changes that he knew about.

Doh is pretty brutal when it comes to talent acquisition. He has no problem running kids off, breaking promises etc. I guess I can live w/it, if it means some wins, just being honest. That said, his version of roster manipulation is pretty distasteful.
