I expected that long before page two...what took you so long Thad?
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

Well.... technically I did have my post on page one.... but I guess your right. Chim-Chim took away my computer privileges for a while.... but, obviously, I got them back.

That dastardly Chim-Chim.

People have been saying that for twenty years. I'll believe it when I see it. There is no reason for expectations about this program, save yourself the heartache and don't have them.

I agree , certainly no reason to have any good expectations anytime soon.
What with JJ's narcissism, many prospective recruits will be scared off. They can read about his arrival to The Hill Top. Why would any parent want to sacrifice their sons' education to a program that would trash them when the coach gets frustrated, and then decides to prune the roster. It's a shame that someone in his position treats the student athletes the way he did, (He is a Great teacher, you know?) Ran off some pretty good talent, with more experience.

I have even read somewhere, that there are coaches out there that would actually try to work with their athletes, might make a few suggestions to help them get on the right track, but (He is a teaching coach, you know?) Who knows, might have a few W's on the board.
Sure wouldn't want to build on a team that someone else had started. Heck, just trash em' and start over, yea, that's the ticket !
Five yrs. can't come too soon............ ALOHA
