You need 8 ozs of baby powder on your nose to be realistic
Why go baby powder? If your going .... go all the way.

In defense of my "Bowl Bound" costume, though I must note that that was also the season we were hosting a Halloween night game on ESPN2.

Just don't go as Derek Canine.
How about going as Derek Canine's copied term paper?

Now that would be brilliant.... however need much explaining and not worth it unless one was heading to a Halloween party of a very exclusive bunch of Mustang fans with knowledge of a certain era. Which is to say.... not gonna' happen.
But honestly, I love it.

It against the law for anyone over the age of 12 to wear a mask in Virginia.

I guess if the thieves in DC can do it without masks everyone else can also.

That was one of the best times I've had at an SMU game in the Ford Stadium era. Not just because we beat UAB, but with the "Boolevard" and all the crazy costumes it made for a fun night.
Too bad no one at SMU is smart enough to make a Halloween game a tradition. We haven't had a home game anywhere near Halloween since then.
The BOOlevard as an annual tradition would rock.

WQiHIS could have been there, everything I've heard about that game can be described as "awesome".

It would be a fun tradition. Unfortunately there would be a mutiny of small people in our house if we bailed on trick-or-treating.
