we expand the number of bcs bowls to 5

the fifth being the cotton bowl

the best non bcs team gets an automatic bid

and non bcs still keep the at large bid with the current caveats

after the five bowls are played - the top 2 ranked teams play the championship game

bowl affiliations
rose - big ten pac ten
sugar sec
orange acc

cotton big 12 Champion (if from south) CUSA Champion (if from West) pac ten wac sec nd

the benefits of this plan include the chance for every team to play in the national championship and the revival of the cottonbowl

Personally think it is a great idea.

My understanding is that the 4 existing bowls are not inclined to cut the pie into another piece.

Jerry World would be the Top Venue on that list.
