I wonder if he is still solid on Illinois with Bill Self going to Kansas??

Wondering that myself. He signed an LOI though, so unless he gets a waiver of some kind he would have to sit out a year. Carters situation is the standard arguement for some rule changes. Kid picks a school cross country and then the coach up and leaves. Tough break. From this Illinois fans perspective, I'd have a hard time arguing against giving guys like Carter a release.

Yeah, the same can be said for Deron Williams. I'm sure the major reason he chose Illinois was Bill Self. It's really not fair to the kids.
