Richardson-Pearce linebacker

Patrick Martell, a 5-11, 205-pound (4.6 40) inside linebacker at Richardson (J.J. Pearce) is listing SMU among his top choices, along with Arizona State, Oklahoma State, Rice, TCU and Baylor.

That sounds real small for a linebacker, especially an inside guy. Think he could play safety?
