I just had a friend of mine call me. He said he went to Bailey's 1st & 10 today to meet some people for lunch, and there was a sign on the door saying that the State of Texas has closed them down. Perhaps a tax issue?
Can anyone confirm?

Hard to focus today, what with all the extreme right wingers jumping out the windows.
I'd kill for a Nobel Peace Prize.

Nobody is jumping out of any windows. Just going into hybernation for the next two years while Reid, Pelosi and Obama screw things up so bad, we get the house back.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

If true, PonyPride will not be a happy camper.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

If true, most of Mustang Nation, especially me, will not be happy.

Probably a health code issue moreso than a TABC issue I would think and hope. Not saying that I want there to be any reason...just that I hope its health code and not TABC.

That probably means, they're toast. Usually Texas won't padlock you if you are tying to pay.

I blame the ponyfans. If you did not eat there so much, they'd be operating at a loss and would not owe franchise taxes.

And trying to figure out how to hide money in an off-shore account.

That might be the biggest understatement ever written on this site.
I can't begin to express how strongly I hope this is not true. Those burgers are the stuff of legend ... or at least the stuff of a very happy gut.
