Actually, no. A friend of mine from HS took that pic. I just snagged from him and gave it the Oscar treatment.

Here's a blurb from D Magazine about the closing.
Booooooooooo!
![]() SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

1.) The chief export of Obama is Sunshine. 2.) When Chuck Norris goes to sleep at night, he counts Obamas. 3.) Obama doesnt sleep, he organizes communities. 4.) Obama's tears cure cancer. Too bad he is always smiling. 5.) If you can see Obama, he can see you. If you cant see Obama, you may be seconds away from a tax increase. 6.) MacGuyver can build an airplane out of chewing gum and bailing wire, but Obama can talk MacGuyver into flying him wherever he wants to go. 7.) Helen Keller's favorite color is Barack Obama. 8.) One year at Thanksgiving, Michelle didnt feel like cooking so Barack went to the grocery, bought a frozen turkey, brought it home and swallowed it whole. 10 minutes later he vomited it back up, fully cooked and with cranberries on the side. 9.) A man once asked Obama if his real first name was "Barry". Obama didnt say anything, he just smiled at the man until his head exploded. 10.) When Barack Obama jumps in the water, he doesnt get wet. The water get's sanctified. (I just made these up ((ok, I stole them from the Chuck Norris list)) so help me out and think of some more) Try not to choke on the Kool-Aid.
HELP- maybe some of you experts can help me. Was Baileys 1st&10 ever associated with or owned by the same owners of The Point After?
I used to go to the Point in Lewisville/Flower Mound years ago. In fact I was very good friends with the manager- a guy named Bill Iskewickz -aka Whiskey. He even 'comped' a couple of car club events for me. One of the partners of the Point restaurants/bar was named James Bailey(IIRC). I believe that he passed away and his daughter Kim (IIRC) inherited his interests in the restaurants. So, it is an obvious connection by both name of owners and similarity of name of restaurants that I inquire. Perhaps this would be a good investment opportunity. Can anyone tell me why they seemed to have very little business with providing good food. IIRC the Point also had great hamburgers (and drinks). Thanks for any info. GO PONIES!!!
