Homecoming Parade = No Blvd vehicle entry after what time?

Postby Special_Delivery_Smu_Fans » Wed Nov 05, 2008 1:29 pm

Since it is homecoming this weekend when will they cut-off vehicle entry to the Blvd to make way for the homecoming parade? 10AM? or 10:30AM vehicle cutoff? Anyone know the exact cut-off time? The homecoming parade starts at 11AM.

the Blvd is closed at 11:00 a.m. - so if it were me, i would be there by 10:45 (you know there will be a line trying to get in at the last minute and the "gatekeepers" are very slow :o

Got this e-mail today:

Hello Mustang Fan,

I just wanted to remind everyone that this weekend’s game against Memphis is the 2008 Homecoming game. That means that we will be having the Homecoming Parade on The Boulevard. The Parade starts around 11am at which time The Boulevard will be closed to traffic. There will also be a Homecoming 5k run that morning on campus that part of will take place on Bishop Boulevard. The 5k starts at 8:30am in front of Moody Coliseum and continues on to Bishop Boulevard at which time The Boulevard will be temporary closed to vehicular traffic for about 30 minutes. So when you are coming to setup your Boulevard spot please come before 8:30am or between 9am and 11am.

I hope to see everyone out on The Boulevard and at the game on Saturday, if you have any questions please feel free to call me anytime. I would also like to invite you to stop by the Mustang Club tent on the corner of Bishop and Binkley in front of the Natatorium.

GO MUSTANGS!
