this game was a carbon copy of 75% of TCU's losses over the Patterson years. Too conservative on Offense and losing it on defense in the closing minutes after a great defensive performance. Aaron Brown is a stud but he has always been underutilized by TCU. I would have put the game in his hands rather than Dalton.

I love when the Frogs lose. They would have been unbearable had they won last night. That was a heartbreaker, too, for them. They just fell apart when it mattered. It looked so familiar...

Corp, after what happened last night, you really ought to stay silent for a while. I was hoping for a TCU win but you guys handed it to the Utes. Pure and simple. I wouldn't come over here and try and gloat about anything if I were you. Your arrogance is misplaced. Pride cometh before the fall.

It was not an interesting game. This is probably why Patterson will not get a job anywhere else. Sat on the lead and didn't let his offense put the game away. If you let a good team hang around too long, sooner or later they'll make you pay. He had at least two opportunities in the second half to put a stake in Utah and didn't get it done. The Frogs dodged more than a few bullets and the defense had been on the field a lot (at altitude).

TCU's kicker is snake bit. The Frogs snatched defeat from the jaws of victory, and that is a shame. A win over Utah on the road would have been good for a BCS bowl for sure. The better TCUY does, the more SMU can see what was possible if we had been building our program the right way too. JJ will eventually catch up as soon as he can recruit some defensive players. With UT hurting for good defensive backs, let's see who we can get after they take their pick of the blue chips.

You should go look at the TCU board - they are about as angry a group as I have seen. Mad at the MWC for its lousy bowls and TV, mad at Thursday night games, mad at Patterson. I'd love to actually be in a game where if we win we go to a BCS bowl.
