Texas has already received commitments from 3 of the top 51 players in the country for 2004 (center LaMarcus Aldridge from Dallas Seagoville rated #5, PG Daniel Gibson from Houston Jones rated #14, and forward Dion Dowell from Texas City rated #51). As much as I hate to admit it, with it's past few recruiting classes UT has now joined the Duke, UNC, Arizonas as powers in the recruiting wars of college hoops.
