I noticed at the Navy game that the D tends to try all tackles up around the shoulder pads. Tacklers get over powered and give up significant extra yards with this style of tackling. On this drive, our D continues to attempt shoulder pad tackles allowing runners to break the tackles and over power tacklers with strength. What ever happened to waist and lower tackling and using the shoulder instead of flailing arms?

Biggest frustration with me is I don't think there are 5 players on this team that I think...give'em a couple of years of development and they could be all-conference

It appears that it is actually one of our famous traditions now.

I'm with you. Go for 2. Field goal can still give you a win being down either 1 o 2. Do not know what the big cheat sheet calls for; however, we are well into the 3d quarter.

Too small and no depth so we keep getting Defensive players hurt. We need so big time defensive help from recruiting.

You are absolutely right. Even today we have had several frosh corners in the game that I thought were red shirts.

Running out of receivers as well. So many injured. Kinda makes one think we have no depth.
