I didn't see Evan on the sidelines yesterday. I thought he was supposed to get some playing time. Is he sick or is it something else?

Sorry, but I don't have time to read every post in every thread on this board. If its not in the title, which I scanned before posting, than I put it out there to find out.

Heard it was a 3rd strike issue and he was suspended for the game. Injured players can dress out as we have seen in Poynter, Enright, and Tennison. Understand there may be a few more players out for similiar issues for the last two games.

Wish he had redshirted this year! Maybe he can get a medical because I don't think he played much?
We haven't heard from Proud Mama about this. Proud Mama, can you shed some light on what' happening with Evan

It's best to hear the truth before this gets blown out of proportion.
Evan was suspended due to three minor infractions. Although minor, Evan must be held to the same standards as everyone else and he accepts and takes responsibility for his actions. The first thing he did was call us and, with great shame, admitted his mistakes. As a parent I am ashamed and embarassed however I see this as a learning experience and can only hope that this will never happen again. We explained to Evan that not only did he let himself down he also let his team and the fans down. He understands this and apologized promising that it will never happen again.
Evan also is having a problem with his knee which is being taken care of.

Had I been on the football team I would have racked up 3 infractions a month! Glad he has the right mental attitude and I can't wait to see him breaking people in half next season.

Mrs. H
That’s not near as bad as dropping all of you classes because you think your going to the nfl and don’t.
But my son re- in rolled 4 years later at UCF and will gradate this spring that I am proud of.
And as long as Evan graduates he will never have to live anything down.

Thanks for setting the record straight, Mrs. H. I hope Evan's knee is on the mend and that he is back on the field soon. Hang in there!
